Objective of the Production

To visually accompany and document the Škoda Veloteam events with a focus on emotion, community, athletic performance, and the Škoda brand universe. The goal is to create authentic, dynamic, and versatile imagery for digital communication and brand activation via We Love Cycling.


Content & Photography Focus

  • Sporting Action: Capturing amateur riders and VIPs during the races – in motion and at the finish line
  • Brand Visibility: Integrating Škoda branding (flags, jerseys, start/finish arches, vehicles, etc.) into the visual narrative – subtle yet recognizable
  • Emotion & Atmosphere: Candid moments, team spirit, exhaustion and joy at the finish, handshakes, hugs, laughter – the “magic in between”
  • VIP Coverage: Personal impressions and interactions with prominent participants – in action and with fans or teammates
  • Behind-the-Scenes: Insights into preparation, logistics, teamwork, and the event community

Context / Project Aim

The Škoda Veloteam initiative represents passion, teamwork, and accessibility in cycling. These photography assignments are designed to visually convey that spirit – capturing real people in motion and the emotional connections that define the sport.

With prominent support from actors such as Sebastian Ströbel, Johann von Bülow, and Oliver Mommsen, the events also gained additional media and social reach.
